Import 9.5 .ldms files into new 9.6 core and new database?

Hi,

i'm doing a new and clean 9.6 coreserver installation. The only thing i want from my old 9.5 coreserver are the deployment packages.

I want nothing else to keep it as clean as possible! If i try to export from old and import to the new, i get an error because versions are missmatching.

There is a workaround to open .ldms files in editor and change every 9.5 in 9.6, then save and close it, but the support told us not to do this.

Is there a different way? Upgrading the old coreserver and then export the files is not an option for us.
